Coming soon to the App Store
DoorScore gives you verified, unit-specific apartment reviews from real residents so you know exactly what you're moving into before you commit.
Why DoorScore
We built DoorScore because apartment listings lie. Real residents tell you what the listing never will.
Every reviewer uploads proof of residency, like a lease, utility bill, or bank statement. Fake reviews and landlord plants have no place here.
Unit 4B and Unit 12A in the same building are completely different apartments. DoorScore tracks them separately.
DoorScore rates both the building and the unit separately. See how the landlord responds, how clean the common areas are, and how good the rooftop is — then drill into the specific unit.
From natural light and appliances to landlord responsiveness and neighborhood safety — 25 categories scored 1–10, averaged into one DoorScore.
Worried about your landlord? You can post anonymously. Your verification stays private while your review stays visible.
Attach real photos of the unit, kitchen, bathroom, lobby, and hallways. Future renters deserve to see past the listing photos.
25 Categories · 2 Levels
DoorScore captures data at two levels — the building and the specific unit. Every dimension is scored 1–10 and averaged into one overall DoorScore.

How it works
DoorScore makes it easy to share your experience and find the truth about any apartment.
Find any building by address or name. See aggregate scores and read verified reviews from real residents.
Upload a lease or utility bill to prove you lived there. Your document is reviewed privately and stored securely — never shared with other users or landlords.
Score your unit and building across 25 categories, write a review, add photos, and publish. Tag it, rate the landlord, and go anonymous if you prefer.
Write your review
Rate your unit across 25 categories, add quick tags, attach photos, and publish — anonymously if you want. The whole flow takes under five minutes.
Built on trust
Every review on DoorScore is tied to a verified residency. These are real people who actually lived there.
Reviewers upload a lease agreement, utility bill, bank statement, or government mail showing their address. Our system automatically scans every document, with our team reviewing anything uncertain.
A verification for Unit 4B cannot be used to review Unit 12A. Every review is permanently linked to a specific unit, not just the building.
Your identity is verified behind the scenes. When you post, your name stays hidden. Landlords see your review, not who you are.
